Over the decades many have tried to start an iron mine through the various natural ice caves that form, but the glacier has quickly ground each of them to rubble.

Grand Lighthouse (130, 20) - Standing over three hundred feet tall, this magnificent tower shines its enormous light for miles and miles into the neighboring sea. The lighthouse is powered by a team of oxen at its base, which drives it to emit a flash of light every twelve seconds. Shining through the largest, clearest lens in the world, the light can be seen by ships as far as 20 miles from shore. A 30 foot stone statue of the sea goddess Rhiannona stands upon its top, pointing her trident out towards the sea.

Temple of Squirrels (116, 18) - Thousands of squirrels live in safety at this monastery, venerated as avatars of its patron deity. The monastery consists of central temple made of stone and five more wooden buildings where the monks eat, sleep and work. All of the buildings were built around and within enormous evergreen trees, some towering to heights of nearly two hundred feet. The uppermost is a perched fifty feet above the ground. The thirty monks who live here venerate a nature god called Conwaaeirt, who takes the avatar of a squirrel when visiting the mortal plane. As a result, it is strictly forbidden to harm a squirrel in any way. The squirrels are cared for by the monks, and countless numbers of them live here in safety. The Brothers of Conwaaeirt share their lives with the squirrels in every way: they eat with them, bathe with them, and sleep with them.

Wonderful Crater (191, 56) - A mile in radius, this lush hemispherical depression is thought to have been created by the impact of a large object plummeting from the heavens. The crater is nearly a mile across and five hundred feet deep at the center. The edges are fairly steep, and are decorated by numerous waterfalls that drain into a series of ponds. Several switchback trails lead down to the bottom of the crater, but they are hard to find without a skilled outdoorsman to assist. The crater has a wild range of fauna that dwells within it, and its shape only serves to amplify the gigantic howler monkeys that call this their territory.
