Temple of Squirrels (116, 18)
The Temple of Squirrels is a unique place located at (116, 18) in the fantasy world. This monastery is home to thousands of squirrels who are venerated as avatars of its patron deity, Conwaaeirt, a nature god. The central temple of the monastery is made of stone and surrounded by five wooden buildings where the monks eat, sleep, and work.
All of the buildings were constructed around and within enormous evergreen trees, some towering up to nearly two hundred feet. The uppermost is perched fifty feet above the ground. The thirty monks who live here are devoted to Conwaaeirt and believe that the god takes the form of a squirrel when visiting the mortal plane.
As a result, it is strictly forbidden to harm a squirrel in any way. The squirrels are cared for by the monks, and countless numbers of them live here in safety. The Brothers of Conwaaeirt share their lives with the squirrels in every way: they eat with them, bathe with them, and even sleep with them.
Visitors to the Temple of Squirrels are expected to respect the rules of the monastery and treat the squirrels with the utmost care and kindness. The temple is open to those who seek spiritual guidance and want to learn more about the teachings of Conwaaeirt, as well as to those who wish to witness the unique relationship between the monks and the squirrels.
