Temple of the Colossi (29, 3)
The Temple of the Colossi, located at coordinates (29,3), is an ancient temple that was built to the scale of giants. The ruins of the temple now serve as a way-station and trading post for traveling caravans. The temple's entrance consists of twenty steps, each ten feet tall, leading up to the central platform where the temple proper once stood. Only three broken columns, each standing sixty feet high, remain of the once grand structure.
The steps leading up to the platform are covered with ropes, ladders, and structures that serve as temporary homes for the various trading caravans that stop here. Atop the temple platform are a number of buildings for the permanent residents who make their living tending to the caravans. These include a blacksmith, a cobbler, a tanner, and a rope-maker. Food and drink can be found at the only inn within miles, the Wise Titan.
Despite the temple's age and the fact that it lies in ruins, it still holds a sense of grandeur and awe for those who visit. The massive scale of the structure, built for giants, is a testament to the ancient civilizations that once thrived in the region. The trading post has become an important stop for caravans traveling through the area, and the permanent residents who tend to their needs have built a thriving community around it.
