Centurion (sen-TOO-ree-un) god of Centaurs, son of Amora.

The Creation of Centaurs

Centurion roamed the wilds of the world, watching over all creatures great and small. Though he enjoyed the company of many of the beasts and birds that inhabited the land, he felt a special kinship with the horses that roamed the plains and forests.

Centurion began to experiment with his powers of creation, seeking to craft a new form of life that would embody the grace and strength of his equine companions. He drew upon the elements of the earth, shaping the soil and stone with his divine will, and infused them with the energy of the sun and the wind.

From this mixture of elements, Centurion molded the first Centaur, a being with the torso of a man and the body of a horse. He breathed life into his creation, and watched with joy as it sprang to its feet and galloped away into the wilderness.

Over time, more and more Centaurs were born, and they began to gather into tribes and clans, roaming the land in search of food and shelter. Centurion watched over them with a proud and loving eye, and they in turn worshipped him as their creator and protector.

And so it was that the Centaurs came to be, born from the earth and the sun and the wind, and blessed by the hand of their divine father, Centurion.
